G Adventures has been named in The Australian’s Best Places to Work 2024 list, the only travel company recognised.
The accolade is based on six key drivers of workplace engagement: Reward and Recognition, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing, Instilling Pride, and Job Satisfaction.
G Adventures said its commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion played a significant role in earning this recognition.
“DEI and nurturing our internal staff community has been a huge focus for us at G Adventures this past year, especially with the new hybrid and remote working model we have evolved within Australia,” managing director APAC G Adventures Sean Martin, said.
G Adventures has made significant strides in fostering a sense of community and connection, regardless of where employees work, whether in person or digitally. The company’s DEI working committee has been instrumental in driving improvements both internally and externally.
Notably, G Adventures’ overall inclusivity score, as measured by Diversio, has increased by 6.1 points since 2021, reaching 79.5 – six points higher than the industry average.
